Rath Berger Biography

Rath Berger was born in Hungary in 1933 to parents who were well known artists. They taught painting to Rath until he was old enough to go to a specialized art school.

After graduating from art school, Rath became a professional still life artist. He was immediately recognized as a very talented painter.

Exhibits of his work have been on display in Paris and Munich as well as many one man exhibits throughout Hungary. Rath is also becoming increasingly popular throughout the United States.

Rath generally paints miniature fruit with porcelain or glass. His paintings carry his trademark water drops on the table. His portrayal of these various fruits are so realistic one is tempted to pluck them off the painting.
