Artist Statement
"I feel truly blessed to be able to express my experiences and share the intense emotion that is involved in creating. To know that people find meaning in my art is a joy beyond expression. My paintings are more of an essence of nature, not a literal representation of it. It's the emotion that a stand of aspen stirs inside me that I'm trying to capture. You will notice lots of familial references in the titles of my paintings like: "Three Sisters," "Protecting the Little One," and "Family of Five;" this is no accident. Love has a story to tell. I think of myself as its poet whose words are expressed in images and color."
Please join us to meet with artist Rolinda Stotts and see her new collection; she will share with us some of her amazing painting techniques while doing a live demonstration in our Old Town gallery. This is the artist's first appearance in the Washington DC area and we are excited to be hosting this event.
***P&C Art is offering an original pastel created by Rolinda with the purchase of any of her original paintings. Valid only on Saturday April the 17 th.
