Andre Roubaud
Andre Roubaud was born in France in 1929 and received his art education in Paris at "Art Libre". Roubaud enjoys painting things that surround him: landscapes, flowers and people. He began winning prizes from his own region in France and later exhibited in Mexico, Australia, Japan, Switzerland, Canada and the U.S.
His paintings exhibit vivid colors and thick, painterly texture in hues of bright yellow, green, red and blue and Andre's adept palette knife movement of thick paint around his canvas gives much depth to the image. Andre has exhibited since 1957, beginning in Paris and Marseille, then on to New York, Chicago, Palm Beach, San Francisco and Montreal. Roubaud has achieved international recognition while winning numerous honors during his career.
