Fernando Ibañez Alcaraz was born in 1969 in Alcoy, Alicante. In 1984, he began studying forms of art in the studio of a master teacher and artist. He was guided by his teacher, while attending the Escuela de Artes y Oficios (School of Art and Occupation) in Alcoy. After studying all forms of art, Alcaraz chose to specialize in oil painting, without leaving aside his interest in pastels, watercolor, and pencil drawing. The work of Alcaraz would be considered the artistic side of realism, although it could also be considered an elevated form of hyper realism.
